These are a few of our furniture pieces we have found in yard sales. I just love this old vanity. The wood is a really soft maple and it had been neglected and took many hours of light sanding to make it presentable. It's still not completely finished. We need to find or have a special mirror made to put in it. 
I found this old mirror and was going to paint it white but then decided it looks so nice just like this. It's in perfect condition too. It's larger than it looks here.
And we found this old desk one day while house hunting. Someone had painted it this ugly pinkish color. My hubby took some paint stripper and let it sit for a minute and
the wood looks like oak. I can't wait to finish this one too.

OMG It reminds me of my grandmothers vanity from back in the 40's! It's beautiful....great find!
The top dresser is just like my Granparent's from long ago. Oh the memories!
